On our websites when you visit, when you make a reservation and when you manage your booking. We collect information when you use our contact forms to make a query about our accommodation and other services.
When you visit our guest house during the registration process.
If you contact us by phone, email, text or other correspondence. We may keep a record of your contact as required by law, to provide a financial audit trail, to improve the quality of our services and to prevent fraud.
When you book through a travel agent or other third party, we may receive information about you from them which we will keep as required by law, to provide a financial audit trail, to improve the quality of our service and to prevent fraud.

We never send out unsolicited emails or pass your email address or other data onto any third parties.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as racial or ethnic origin, nationality, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, etc) unless it is volunteered by you. In order to tailor services to you, we may occasionally ask for information such as your age or whether you have any disability. It is entirely up to you to decide whether or not you are happy to provide this information and we will only use this information to help us fulfil our contract with you to provide the services that you have requested.
We use a secure website to collect your credit/debit card data to process your bookings for accommodation and other services. We may request credit/debit card information over the phone if you have chosen this method to request accommodation. We will never ask you to send this information electronically and all credit/debit card information is stored on a secure system. This information will only be accessed when necessary to take payments as outlined in our Terms and Conditions and the information will only be kept for as long as is necessary to fulfil our contract with you. We may keep this information for a longer period in cases where a dispute has arisen or we are required or permitted to hold the information by applicable law. We will dispose of credit/debit card information securely.
Opting out of marketing and promotional emails:
We will provide a link at the end of any marketing and promotional emails to allow you to unsubscribe from that service at any time. You cannot opt out of receiving communications from us which relate to your bookings.
Non-disclosure to third parties:
We do not share your data with any other company for marketing purposes.
We may share your data with agencies such as law enforcement or governmental organisations where we are required to make such disclosures by applicable law.
We may share your data with banks and payment providers to authorise and complete payments.
We may pass your information to third party service providers, agents, sub-contractors and other associated organisations for the purpose of completing bookings and providing services to you that you have requested. We only disclose personal information to our third party service providers that is necessary to deliver the service, e.g. making your booking through a hotel management system. They will use your personal information to complete their contract with you and will share your personal information with us for the purposes of completing the booking process. We will not release your information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.
How long we retain personal information:
Through our website, we may collect non-personal information about your computer, including where available, your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system management. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns and it does not identify any individual. Your IP address is a number that your Internet Service Provider automatically assigns to the computer you use to access our website. This number is identified and logged in server log files whenever you visit our website, together with the time of the visit and the page(s) you visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the internet and is done automatically by many websites.
