What information we collect about you:
When you make a booking with us, we collect your name, home address, email address and telephone number.
We also collect a debit or credit card number to secure your booking and validate your card details. For non-refundable bookings, 100% of the amount due will be taken.
How we use the information we hold on you:
We use your home address as part of the card payment processing to validate the card.
We may use your email address to send you confirmation of the booking and an email with more details on how to find us and other information you may find useful for your stay.
After your stay you may receive an automatic email from our booking system asking you to fill in a feedback form.
We will not use your telephone number to contact you unless it for an emergency and/or we have been unable to contact you by email.
How your data is stored:
All of the personal and debit/credit card data you supply us, as part of the booking process, is stored securely on a third party system (Booking.com, Expedia, or Queensborough Group).
In the case of Queensborough, the data processor is 'Queensborough Group'. The sub-processors (providing services in connection with operation of the online booking system) are 'HotelHost Company' and 'Rackspace'.
Neither we nor the above companies will share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason for doing so.
We are required by law to collect the following information on all our guests:
Name, nationality, passport number, address of next destination
In instances of online booking, this is collected prior to arrival (via the booking company, or directly). For telephone/in-person bookings, this is collected via a registration form to be completed on arrival.
We will ensure these details are stored securely. We are required to keep details for one year, and show them to a police officer upon request. All of your personal information which is not needed for financial/tax purposes will be destroyed 12 months after your stay.
